Hiba Academy Nantong Book Week

Hiba Academy Nantong successfully completed its five-day Book Week, featuring over ten creative literacy activities that ignited campus-wide reading enthusiasm. This literary feast revitalized classic works while nurturing pupils' lifelong passion for reading. 

The event launched on Monday with the Mystery Reader programme. Guest speakers from various professions brought stories to life across classrooms - engineers explained bridge construction through pop-up books, doctors explored human anatomy with illustrated guides, and cultural specialists shared folk rhymes. Laughter and applause echoed through corridors as pupils immersed in adventures from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to Ordinary World. 

The library became a buzzing hub where hundreds of books found new readers. At assembly ,the anticipated "Battle of the Books" electrified pupils: younger grades explored Roald Dahl's magical worlds while senior pupils analyzed literary classics.Kahoot quizzes transformed literary quotes into interactive challenges.

Friday's Book Character Day transformed campus into a living storybook. Young wizards chatted with historical figures under phoenix trees, while teachers recreated scenes from Dream of the Red Chamber. Memorable reading moments were captured - pupils sharing picture books on auditorium steps, contemplative readers in sunlit corridors - weaving Hiba Academy's unique reading tapestry. 

The closing ceremony celebrated competition winners, showcasing creative bookmarks and literary achievements. Though the event concluded, its impact continues through bedtime reading rituals, intellectual sparks from book battles, and well-loved pages under study lamps. Hiba Academy's reading journey remains an unfolding story, with every turned page writing new chapters of discovery.
